O faithful virgin and glorious martyr, St. Philomena, who works so many miracles on behalf of the poor and sorrowing, have pity on me. Thou knows the multitude and diversity of my needs. Behold me at thy feet, full of misery but full of hope. I entreat thy charity, O great Saint! Graciously hear me and obtain from God a favorable answer to the request which I now humbly lay before thee...(here specify your petition). I am firmly convinced that through thy merits, through the scorn, the sufferings and the death thou did endure, united to the merits of the Passion and Death of Jesus, thy Spouse, I shall obtain what I ask of thee and in the joy of my heart I will bless God , who is admirable in His Saints. Amen.

I will be "on and offline" for the next few days but will try to keep up with this novena. I just find that I do better when I post every day, but will try my best.
For everyone's intentions, especially Ben, Alley & family, little Martin, Melvin, Robyn, Rachael, Youcef, Amir, Grace and all my children, esp. Rose and Michael.
St. Philomena, pray for us.

We do have our St. Philomena Prayer Group already, but many here do have a strong devotion to this little wonder-worker saint, and maybe aren't part of the group. Plus, I had to do something special for St. Philomena in honor of her upcoming feast day in August. Last year she did answer my prayers, but not in the way I had anticipated at all....but in hindsight she answered them "for the best."
To Philomena, Nothing is Refused....because she gave everything to God.
