Special intention for St. Michael's School (UK)
O Father and Teacher of the young, in need of special help I appeal with confidence to thee, St. John Bosco, for I require not only spiritual graces but also temporal ones, particularly....
(mention your intention here)
May thou, who on earth had such a great devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary, Help of Christians, and who always had compassion on those who were suffering, obtain from Jesus and His Heavenly Mother the grace I now request and also a sincere resignation to the Will of God.
Our Father.......Hail Mary.....Glory Be

Amen.
In 1853 Don Bosco realised that many of his boys needed continuous help and support. He enlarged the oratory into a boy's home, there youngsters could live and either work in the city, or attend classes to prepare boys for skilled labour. This was the first Catholic trade school in Italy. Saint John Bosco is the patron saint of apprentices.
P.S. a little story to tell why St John Bosco is so important to me...In 2013 Tom (age 13) Aidan (age 10) and I went to venerate the relics of St John Bosco when they came to Cardiff. When I joined this group I found the John Bosco novena prayer. I think that I have completed each year since. Last year, as I completed the novena I had a beautiful reward. I had just started work and left my husband for the week once again and the following day went to Mass at 7:30 a.m. at the end of Mass Fr Summers brought the St John Bosco relics out for veneration. I am stunned at how the saints join the dots up for us again and again. Beautiful, lovely, gorgeous!
Okaaaaaay admission time - I have just taken your prayer and printed it off - not mentioned where it came from etc - I have had to reword the intentions because an American wondered if she could include all SSPX schools, a woman wanted me to mention the girls, another lady suggested I mention past pupils and passed away souls.....I am fully expecting someone from some corner of the digital world to sue me for forgetting something - apologies to all. I will certainly ask Father to remember all my cyberfriends - phew! Sorry, Sorry, Sorry - St John Bosco pray for us - please!
I will be remembering St. Michael's school students and parishioners always ++
Oh, Kate, no...you are not a gate crasher at all. :-D
Thank you for remembering us at Holy Mass by the members of the school and parish.
...I hope I haven't breached group ettiquette by gate crashing this event?
Dear Listmates,
I wonder if you would add St. Michael's school in the UK to the group intentions.
We have the relics of St. John Bosco and they will be venerated after Mass on 31st January by boys and parishioners. All Listmembers will be remembered at the Mass.
Your in Christ
