For our private intentions
O Father and Teacher of the young, in need of special help I appeal with confidence to thee, St. John Bosco, for I require not only spiritual graces but also temporal ones, particularly....

May thou, who on earth had such a great devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary, Help of Christians, and who always had compassion on those who were suffering, obtain from Jesus and His Heavenly Mother the grace I now request and also a sincere resignation to the Will of God.

St. John Bosco, thank you.!
And a very humble and heartfelt thank you to all who partcipated in this novena.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find my name listed under special intentions.
Some very special 'things' happened during this novena in regards to intentions and with this very special saint, himself. No one in my family knew I was praying this novena, and everyday, one of my children would strangely want to know about him, watch the movie about his life, read about him, pray to him, etc. None of which was my doing....God is great and so are His saints. I have to remember that miracles happen every day, especially at the "cellular" level. It isn't the grand "newsworthy" events we should look for in our lives. The seemingly insignificant are what matters and keeps us going.
