Eternal Father, Thou did raise up Thy heroic servant, Blessed Miguel Pro as a witness of Thy great love and mercy for mankind. He was faithful unto death. When facing his executioners, he forgave them and then stretching out his arms in the Sign of the Cross he died proclaiming the name of Thy Most Holy Son.
Let his faithfulness and courage shine before us as an example of true faith in these trying times. Let his love of Thy Divine Son Jesus and Our Blessed Mother Mary be our guide to holiness in our daily lives, and grant us, O Lord, through the intercession of Thy martyr priest Miguel Pro the favors we now ask.....

"Earlier that month, a woman who was in some financial difficulties had taken some paperwork to Fr. Pro, who promised to help her with advice. After reading about Fr. Pro's death in the newspapers, she went to her lawyer to explain that her adviser had been shot. The astonished attorney then showed her some papers that Fr. Pro had delivered to the office only a few minutes before!"
