Since January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus, the Crusaders would like to do a month-long prayer event, in reparation to Our Lord's Holy Name which is so abused in our time. Please say the following hymn once a day for a month. This hymn has a plenary indulgence attached to it, which we can gain for ourselves or for the Holy Souls.
Jesus, the very thought of Thee
with sweetness fills the breast!
Yet, sweeter far Thy face to see
and in Thy presence rest.
No voice can sing, no heart can frame,
Nor can the memory find
A sweeter sound than Jesus' name,
the Savior of mankind.
O Hope of every contrite heart!
O Joy of all the meek!
To those who fall, how kind Thou art!
How good to those who seek!
But what to those who find - ah, this
Nor tongue nor pen can show
the love of Jesus, what it is
None but His loved ones know.
Jesus, our only hope be Thou
As Thou our prize shall be
In Thee be all our glory now
and through Eternity. +Amen

most beautifully sung.....and a hymn so greatly worth singing!
No voice can sing, nor heart can frame,
nor the memory can find
A sweeter sound than Jesus' name,
the Savior of mankind.
Jesus, our only hope be Thou
As Thou our prize shall be
In Thee be all our glory now
and through Eternity. +Amen
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a poor sinner.
Man of Suffering [Isaiah 53:3] Son of Mary [Mark 6:3], have mercy on us+
But what to those who find - ah, this
Nor tongue nor pen can show
the love of Jesus, what it is
None but His loved ones know.
"Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord."
Amen!
Prayed yesterday and today (and hopefully forever! :)
O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a poor sinner.
Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Root of David [Rev. 5:5], have mercy on us.
(prayed yesterday and today)
