Event Description

Dear Crusaders,

We are doing the 33 Day Preparation for Total Consecration to Mary According to Saint Louis de Montfort, beginning December 30th 2012 with the Consecration to Mary set for those who complete the preparation, on February 2, 2013, the Feast of the Purification of Mary.

For those who did the preparation over the summer this will be the same one.

Once again Father Marc Vernoy has offered his services of counsel, spiritual guidance or advice for those who may need it.

We are doing the 33 Day Preparation once more especially for those studying for the Knighthood who must make the consecration as part of what is required.

All are welcome to join.

Each day the meditations, readings and prayers will be posted on the main page as prescribed by Father Vernoy.

Comment by Alley on December 28, 2012 at 2:46am: I am looking so forward to this! :) The key is to NEVER GIVE UP!! Even if you don't feel anything when you are saying these prayers. The lack of "feeling" is a great sacrifice in itself. It is the sacrifice of our will that Mary wants most of all . Our Lady's goal here is to draw you in gently but you must put forth the effort first by at least saying the prayers the rest leave to Her. She is the miracle worker in our souls.

And even if you are unable to complete the required prayers that day start again fresh the next day. You could always ask your Angel to pray what you are unable to get to. :) They would be honored I think. :) They want to help us they want us to ask for their help.

Anyway, we will all be here together !!

This is a very busy time for me, with the holidays and homeschooling, plus distractions of college boys and husband home that I am not sure I can put in the "un-distracted" effort required for this. I plan to renew again this summer if we do it again at that time.
