FATIMA, THE ANTI-MARIAN COUNCIL, AND THE OFFENSIVE AGAINST THE DOGMA OF MARY MEDIATRIX AND CO-REDEMPTRIX

FATIMA, THE ANTI-MARIAN COUNCIL, AND THE OFFENSIVE AGAINST THE DOGMA OF MARY MEDIATRIX AND CO-REDEMPTRIX

Allow me to praise Thee, holy Virgin

Give me strength against Thy enemies!

“Revelations like the one to St. Margaret Mary are not public in the classical sense. But neither can they be called merely private ones, as if they concerned the good only of the person or persons who received them. They have a universal character “Among these, without doubt, are the apparitions and message of Fatima. We could even say that the message of Fatima is the universal revelation or prophecy of our era, indicated by the breadth of its scope.”

“By marginalizing Fatima, we distance ourselves from that peace bequeathed to her son by the Mediatrix of All Graces.” Bp. Antonio de Castro Mayer, May 13, 1987

 “She is the ‘aurora pacis rutilans’ in the darkness of the distraught world; She is The One that doesn’t linger with The Son the imploration of peace, although ‘nondum venerit hora eius’ (Jn 7, 30); She is The One that, has always intervened to escape the groaning Humanity at the time of danger, She will now hasten faster at our plea, Mother to many orphans, The One called upon in such tremendous ruin”. Benedict XV, Speech “È pur troppo vero” (It’s only too true), at the Consistory of 24 December 1915.

On Saturday, May 5, 1917, Pope Benedict XV, seeing the near uselessness of all his attempts to bring an end to the horrible world conflict (WWI), decided to insistently and solemnly invite the whole Christian people to entrust the obtaining of peace to the Blessed Virgin Mary:

«Since by a loving design of Divine Providence, all graces that the Author of all good deigns to grant to the poor children of Adam are dispensed through the hands of the most Holy Virgin, we wish that, in this dreadful hour, with lively confidence, Her most afflicted children turn to Her with their requests. In consequence, we charge you, Eminence (the letter is addressed to Cardinal Gasparri, Secretary of State), to make known to the entire episcopate our ardent desire that all have recourse to the Heart of Jesus, throne of graces, and that they have recourse by the mediation of Mary. To this end we order that, beginning with the first day of June, there be permanently added to the Litany of Loreto the invocation: “Queen of Peace, pray for us.”

At Fatima, eight days later, the Blessed Virgin came to confirm these words of the Vicar of Christ: yes, She is indeed the Mediatrix of all graces, and the gift of peace for the nations comes through Her Queenly power. But this favor which She can grant as Sovereign, She wishes to give only in response to our prayer, in response to the daily and fervent recitation of the Rosary. «Queen of Peace, pray for us!» This little invocation, added to the Litany by the Pope evokes one of the three essential themes of the secret of Fatima: God will only grant true peace to our twentieth century in response to an intense and solemn devotion to His Immaculate Mother

In her memoirs, Sister Lucia recounts the First Apparition on May 13, 1917:

«As she pronounced these last words, “the grace of God will be your  comfort”, Our Lady opened Her hands for the first timecommunicating to us a light so intense that, as it streamed from Her  hands, its rays penetrated our hearts and the innermost depths of our  souls, making us see ourselves in God, Who was that light, better than  we see ourselves in the best of mirrors.»  A mysterious, astonishing vision, with great theological import, for it manifests in a striking fashion the Universal   Mediation of Mary to whom it is given, by an unsearchable grace, to  introduce souls into the Light of God. Three times more, the little seers will contemplate this astonishing spectacle, which reminds us of the apparition of the “Virgin with the rays”, at Rue du Bac (The Miraculous Medal). In this way opening Her hands, which at first had been joined in an attitude of prayer, in a symbolic and solemn gesture as She had done at Lourdes and Pontmain, the Blessed Virgin wishes to teach us Her role as Mediatrix of all graces.

About the gift of peace for the nations, we must learn that Heaven cannot grant true peace to the impious nations in revolt against Mary, to a proud world which refuses to implore Mary, the universal Mediatrix of God’s graces. More concretely, the conversion of hearts and the daily recitation of the Rosary are essential conditions for peace, imposed by God in His just Mercy.

Pontevedra

On December 10, 1925. Our Lady appeared to Sister Lucia in Pontevedra and She said:

“Look My daughter, at My Heart, surrounded with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce Me at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You at least try to console Me and announce in My name that I promise to assist at the moment of death, with all graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the First Saturday of five consecutive months shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep Me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to Me.”

This episode was the fulfillment of the Blessed Virgin’s words to Lucia at the Cova da Iria on July 13, 1917: “I shall come to ask for…the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.”

The Blessed Virgin did more than ask for reparatory Communion and devotions on five First Saturdays: She promised Heaven to those who practiced this devotion sincerely and with a spirit of reparation. Those who wonder whether it is Mary’s place to promise eternal salvation to anyone, should recall one of Her illustrious titles: Mediatrix of all Graces.

Why Our Lady asked for 5 First Saturdays? Our Lord said to Sister Lucy:

«My daughter, the reason is simple. There are five types of offences and blasphemies committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

1. Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.

2. Blasphemies against Her Virginity.

3. Blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity, in refusing at the

same time to recognize Her as the Mother of men.

4. The blasphemies of those who publicly seek to sow in the hearts of children indifference or scorn, or even hatred of this Immaculate Mother.

5. The offences of those who outrage Her directly in Her holy images.

«Here, My daughter, is the reason why the Immaculate Heart of Mary inspired Me to ask for this little act of reparation...»

Here let us follow Father Alonso, for in his study on the message of Pontevedra, he makes a long and useful commentary on the five offences against the Immaculate Heart of Mary enumerated by Our Lord.

“First blasphemy: against the Immaculate Conception. Father Alonso asks: who are those who might commit this offence against the Immaculate Heart of Mary? The answer leaves no doubt: «In the first place and in general the protestant sects who refuse to receive the dogma defined by Pius IX and who have continued to maintain that the Blessed Virgin was conceived with the stain of original sin and even personal sins. The same can be said of the (dissident) Eastern Christians, since, in spite of their great Marian devotion, they too refuse this dogma.» Although the Orthodox admit it, the majority of protestants also reject the perfect and perpetual virginity of Mary «before, during and after giving birth».

“Although they theoretically accept the Divine Maternity of Mary defined at the Council of Ephesus, they refuse to recognize Her as the Mother of men in the Catholic sense, which implies Her co-redemption and Her role as Mediatrix of grace”

With the passing of time, the message of Pontevedra seems astonishingly prophetic. Father Richard, leader of the Blue Army in France, and who could hardly be suspected of an abusive pessimism, remarks on this subject: «Who could have imagined fifty years ago that these five great offences against Mary would spread within the clergy of the Catholic Church herself….

Father Alonso at least described the event with exactitude: The great «Marian era» inaugurated in 1854 by the definition of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, he ventures to write, closed with the Second Vatican Council.

After enumerating the five blasphemies which gravely offend His Most Holy Mother, Our Lord gave Sister Lucy the decisive explanation which allows us to penetrate into the secret of Her Immaculate Heart, which overflows with mercy for all sinners, even those who scorn and outrage Her:

«See, My daughter, the motive for which the Immaculate Heart of Mary inspired Me to ask for this little reparation, and in consideration of it, to move My mercy to pardon souls who have had the misfortune of offending Her. As for you, always seek by your prayers and sacrifices to move My mercy to pity for these poor souls.»

“THE SIN AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

Here we have one of the principal themes of the message of Fatima: since God has decided to manifest more and more His great design of love, which is to grant all graces to men through the mediation of the Immaculate Virgin, it seems that their refusal to submit with docility to what God wills is the fault which most gravely wounds His Heart, and for which He no longer finds in Himself any inclination to pardon them. This sin seems unforgivable, because for Our Saviour there is no crime more unpardonable than to despise His Most Holy Mother and to outrage Her Immaculate Heart, which is the Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit. This is committing «the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will not be forgiven in this world or in the next.”»

In 1929, in the apparition of Tuy which is the final fulfilment of Fatima, Our Lady will conclude the extraordinary manifestation of the Holy Trinity with these striking words: «So many are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.»

These words are so strong that several translators took the liberty of diluting their meaning. We must quote here a significant text in which “the great promise” itself

is a secondary consideration, effacing itself before the primary intention of the Heart of Mary, which is the salvation of all sinners. In May of 1930, Sister Lucy wrote to Father Gonçalves:

«It seems to me that the good Lord, in the depths of my heart, insists that I ask the Holy Father to approve the devotion of reparation, which God Himself and the Most Holy Virgin deigned to request in 1925. In consideration of this little devotion, They wish to give the grace of pardon to souls who have had the misfortune of offending the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Most Holy Virgin promises to souls who will seek to make reparation to Her in this manner, to assist them in the hour of death with all the graces necessary for their salvation.

In fact, in addition to the conversion of sinners and our own eternal salvation, Our Lady has willed that the Communion of reparation be linked to another magnificent promise: the gift of peace. On March 19, 1939, Sister Lucy wrote:

«Whether the world has war or peace depends on the practice of this devotion, along with the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is why I desire its propagation so ardently, especially because this is also the will of our dear Mother in Heaven.»

«Our Lady promised to delay the scourge of war, if this devotion was propagated and practiced. We see that She will obtain remission of this chastisement to the extent that efforts are made to propagate this devotion; but I fear that we cannot do any more than we are doing and that God, being displeased, will pull back the arm of His mercy and let the world be ravaged by this chastisement which will be unlike any other in the past, horrible, horrible.”

On July 13, 1917, Our Lady also said:

«If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end.

«But if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will begin in the reign of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign God gives you that He is about to punish the world for its crimes by means of war, famine and persecutions against the Church and the Holy Father.

«To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the first Saturdays of the month.

«If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.

«If not, she will spread her errors throughout the whole world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred. The Holy Father will have much to suffer. Various nations will be annihilated

To understand the Secret correctly, we must always return to the central phrase which is the pivot, the divine oracle which determines the rest and from which the other parts flow: «God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart.»

The great design of God for our century, His irrevocable decision, is to make the Immaculate Heart of His Most Holy Mother loved, praised and glorified, by all souls and by all nations as well. To this Immaculate Heart, God has entrusted incomparable treasures of grace to be poured out on all Christendom, because He wishes Her to receive a solemn, official and public cult everywhere, and because He wills that She reign in truth over the Church and over all peoples.

One word is enough to call to mind all the benefits of the temporal order: peace. In His love for Her and His eternal decree to make Her Mediatrix of all graces and dispenser of all good things, the Holy Trinity wishes to make Her, in our century, the source and the unique custodian of the gift of peace, to whom we must have recourse.

Little Jacinta understood this quite well. Shortly before leaving for Lisbon, she explained it to her cousin, almost as though she were leaving us her last will and testament:

«Jacinta said to me: “It will not be long now before I go to Heaven. You will remain here to make it known that God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. When you are to say this, don’t go and hide. Tell everybody that God grants us graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that people are to ask Her for them; and that the Heart of Jesus wants the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be venerated at His side. Tell them also to pray to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for peace, since God has entrusted it to Her.”

On July 13, 1917, even before revealing the great Secret to them, Our Lady had explained the first condition for peace to the children, so that the children could promptly make it known: «I want you to continue reciting the Rosary every day in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary to obtain peace in the world and the end of the war, because only She can help you.» And during each of the subsequent apparitions, right up until October 13, Our Lady had repeated this same pressing invitation. This shows how important this point of the message is; this is still true today, because since that time, Sister Lucy has unceasingly reminded us of its urgency.

The Secret, however, mentions two other requests, and these are just as decisive. They express and summarize all the desires of Heaven. These two requests are the Communion of Reparation on the five first Saturdays of the month, because according to Her promise, Our Lady of Fatima came to ask for it in 1925 at Pontevedra, and the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. Our Lady came to ask for this consecration at Tuy, in 1929.

Ii is the Will of God that the future of humanity hang in the balance between these two alternatives. If Russia is not consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, if the devotion of reparation on the first Saturdays of the month is not propagated, God will use Russia with its pernicious errors of communism, and its bloody wars, as a devastating scourge, the instrument of His wrath over humanity: «If not, Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, causing wars, and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated.»

AN OFFENSIVE AGAINST THE DOGMA OF MARY MEDIATRIX

For a Protestant, for a Modernist, the whole Catholic dogma on Mary is «a false and immoderate exaggeration of the truth». For a Catholic ecumenist of the fifties, such as Father Bea, S.J., rector of the Biblical Institute and the Pope Pius XII confessor, or for Msgr. Montini – we do not put forward these two names, (Mediatrix and Co-Redemptrix) by chance – all proposing of a new Marian dogma, especially the universal mediation of the Most Holy Virgin, was to be denounced as «an immoderate exaggeration of the truth».

In the immediate entourage of Pius XII, in fact one can very well discern a plot against the definition of the dogma of Mary Mediatrix. Although during the first ten years of his pontificate Pius XII often employed in his discourses or encyclicals this beautiful Marian title – which the apparitions of Rue du Bac and Fatima so clearly imply – little by little he grew more reticent on this point and the term Mediatrix became rarer in his writings, and finally disappeared entirely.

Father Laurentin highlighted this point in 1962:

«Pius XII (he writes) had a constant concern to maintain a just equilibrium between excess and depreciation. The discretion of his theological vocabulary is notable. Pius XII never employed the expression Co-Redemptrix (which he had used before his election to the pontificate), and almost never Mediatrix (here Laurentin is mistaken and misleading: we have been able to find fifteen uses of this title by Pius XII up to 1950, and our list is not exhaustive!), for fear of obscuring, as he sometimes said to his intimates (which ones, we would like to know?), the unus Mediator of 1 Tim. 2:5. Was it for this reason (adds Laurentin) that he established the Feast of the Queenship

of Mary on May 31, thus leading to suppression of the feast of Mary’s Mediation granted to very many dioceses?»

Indeed! Out of 365 days in the year, where so many ferias were free, why was the new feast of the Queenship of Mary chosen precisely for May 31, if not to make the feast of “Mary, Mediatrix of all graces”, celebrated up till then on this same day, fall into disuse?

Here on the very occasion of the Marian year was an infinitely regrettable decision to which Pius XII consented. Once again he had retreated on this point; he had given way to the camp of the innovators, who were so fiercely, and hypocritically, anti-Mary.

Father Fuentes interview to Sister Lucy:

“Thus the devil does everything to overcome souls consecrated to God, because in this way the devil will succeed in leaving the souls of the faithful abandoned by their leaders, thereby the more easily will he seize them.»

«That which afflicts the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Heart of Jesus is the fall of religious and priestly souls. The devil knows that religious and priests who fall away from their beautiful vocation drag numerous souls to hell... The devil wishes to take possession of consecrated souls. He tries to corrupt them in order to lull to sleep the souls of laypeople and thereby lead them to final impenitence.”

Father, the Most Holy Virgin did not tell me that we are in the last times of the world, but She made me understand this for three reasons.»

THE FINAL BATTLE. «The first reason is because She told me that the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Virgin.   And a decisive battle is the final battle where one side will be victorious   and the other side will suffer defeat. Hence from now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the devil. There is no other possibility.»

THE LAST REMEDIES. «The second reason is because She said to my cousins as well as to myself that God is giving two last remedies to the world. These are the Holy Rosary and Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of  Mary. These are the last two remedies which signify that there will be no others.»

THE SIN AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT. «The third reason is because, in the plans of Divine Providence, God always, before He is about to chastise the world, exhausts all other remedies. Now, when He sees that the world pays no attention whatsoever, then, as we say in our imperfect manner of speaking, He offers us with a certain trepidation the last means of salvation, His Most Holy Mother. It is with a certain trepidation because if you despise and repulse this ultimate means we will not have any more   forgiveness from Heaven because we will have committed a sin which the Gospel calls the sin against the Holy Spirit. This sin consists of openly rejecting, with full knowledge and consent, the salvation which He offers. Let us remember that Jesus Christ is a very good Son and that He does not permit that we offend and despise His Most Holy Mother. We have recorded through many centuries of Church history the obvious testimony which demonstrates, by the terrible chastisements which have befallen those who have attacked the honour of His Most Holy Mother, how Our Lord Jesus Christ has always defended the honour of His Mother.»

“The Blessed Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the   recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or, above all, spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families of the world, or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With   the Holy Rosary, we will save ourselves. We will sanctify ourselves. We will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls.»

 DEVOTION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY   «Finally, devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Most Holy Mother, consists in considering Her as the seat of mercy, of goodness and of  pardon, and as the certain door by which we are to enter Heaven.»

«Volui et noluistis»: “I wanted to save you, and rebellious to My voice, you did not want to hear Me.” It is always the same complaint full of anguish and love that God addresses to His people – and more than ever at the end of 1960. For more than ever the prophetic oracle of August 1931 was about to be fulfilled: «They did not want to heed My request... They follow the example of the king of France in delaying the execution of My request, and   they will follow him into misfortune.

These terrible words were pronounced by Our Lord after the first refusal of Pius XI. What would it be so many years later, after so many refusals of His Vicar on earth and while the Chair of Truth had been soiled by so many hypocritical lies intended to keep the truth captive, whatever the cost? «God is going to chastise the world, and it will be in a terrible manner», Sister Lucy said in 1957.

Let us now see how the “council of Popes John and Paul” behaved in relation to Our Lady of Fatima. There were four major issues in this regard:

– The Apparitions came to highlight the truth always accredited by the Church regarding the Mediation of Mary Most Holy. This was the subject of a special scheme prepared on Our Lady;

– The Last Things became a pastoral priority for our unbelieving and indifferent age and had been strongly recalled at Fatima by the vision of hell given to the little shepherds;

– The greatest evil of our age is the “intrinsically perverse” communism, which multiplies oppression and persecution; it is the great error spread by Russia, as Our Lady of Fatima had warned;

– The great promise and only way out of these errors imposed by Russia without historical precedent was offered at Fatima through the request for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary made by the Pope together with all the Catholic bishops.

The council was the ideal occasion to address these issues, which were also recalled by hundreds of council fathers, which further aggravates the systematic censorship they received from the beginning to the end of the council. Let us see. From the very beginning, opposition arose from neo-ecumenist forces to anything that reminded them of the Mother of God, whom Protestants do not accept.

– The special scheme was rejected and merged with the scheme on the Church, avoiding any mention of Mary's Mediation;

– The memory of the Last Things: Death, Judgment, Hell, and Glory, must have been considered too childish to be repeated in such a high place, because little or nothing is said about it in the conciliar documents, but especially about Hell, which Our Lady wanted to remind the Church of with the Apparitions of Fatima;

– Regarding communism, it later became known that there was an implicit papal veto on discussing it and, even more so, on condemning it, as a result of a compromise to obtain the presence of representatives of the Patriarchate of Moscow, which had long been a “religious affiliate” of the Soviet government.

– It is clear that under these circumstances, the requested Consecration was unfeasible.

The Message had already been set aside and put in a drawer before, showing that the spirit of the Council is antagonistic to the spirit of Fatima, despite all the deception and appearances.

When the documents of that anti-Marian Council were later analyzed more closely, it became clear that a heretical and schismatic spirit was at work, opposing Fatima as well as Catholic doctrine itself. The gravity of the situation was fully revealed by the fruits of the Council, which led to the inexorable self-destruction of the Church.

Therefore, this new document published by Tucho Fernández and Leon XIV leads us to conclude: This document is the culmination of the Anti-Marian Revolution promoted by Satan against Our Blessed Mother, Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces.

The document was signed on October 7, on the Feast of the Holy Rosary. A satanic mockery against Our Lady.

Also, on October 11 and 12, Leo XIV had the statue of Our Lady of Fatima brought to the Vatican, and there he said nothing about the requests of Our Lady in the apparitions of Fatima, he did not speak of hell, of communism... He limited himself to speaking of her as Luther himself did, considering Mary “the perfect disciple”. He dared to ask Her for “peace,” but not on the terms that God Himself had set for obtaining it.

«O Mary, strong as an army, give victory to our troops. We are so weak and our enemy waxes furious with such arrogance. But with Your standard, we feel sure of overcoming him; he knows the strength of Your foot, he fears the majesty of Your glance. Save us, O Mary, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in battle array!» Doc. pont., 1953, p. 624-632.
