I've never heard of the new General Superior, Fr Davide Pagliarani - anyone know him?

Many say he is a Fellay man, but let's wait and see what he does.  This week will be very telling.

Bp De Galarretta is the new First Assistant and Fr.  Bouchacourt is the Second Assistant.  Not good news on either front.  Oh dear.

When I clicked on the link to read the article, the first thing I saw was the photograph of Fr. Pagliarani. However, for just a moment, I thought I was looking at a photo of Bp. Fellay! There was something about the shape of his head and the set of his jaw that reminded me of him.

But at least he did take the Anti-Modernist Oath.

We can only hope and pray, and wait to see what happens next.

Never heared of him too. But I am very happy that Bsp. Feally (and so Rev. Niklas Pfluger too, so far I know) are out of care now. The new superior seems to be generally not know very good. I asked people from tradition in my home country and a priest too. No one knew him. But so far I heared that could be a total exchange at the leading area of SSPX.

I hope it will be like that. Back from the way of Bsp. Feally to the mission of his Grace Archbishop Lefebvre. I really pray for that.

God bless!

Why am I disturbed about his nationality?
May our Lord bless him and make him a true shepherd of His Flock.

How weird, I thought the same thing for a minute.

I wonder if he is the same priest that was negotiating for the Church building in Rome with the Vatican?

JMJ!

I deleted my comment and the subsequent replies to it concerning BPF and the position in Rome.  Probably not a good idea to post it until they announce it officially.

“All the evils of the world are due to lukewarm Catholics.” -Pope St. Pius V

“The fight for the Faith will have to be fought by little groups refusing to enter into any structured or universal organizations. Within these various groups, such as a small school, a humble convent, a prayer group, a gathering of Christian families or the organizing of a pilgrimage, the authority is real and accepted by everybody… All that is needed is for each Catholic to reach as far as his grace and authority will carry him in the little sphere which is certainly his to lead, and which he will take charge of without having over him any grand administrative structures to make him do so."  ~ Father Roger Calmel, O.P.  1970

Thank you for posting this, Michael. May I copy for further distribution. Thank you.
