Convergence

In an earlier post “How long, O Lord, How Long” from April 2015, we wrote:

Our Lord told Sister Lucia in an apparition in Rianjo, Spain in the summer of 1931, “Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command (to consecrate Russia), they will follow him into misfortune. It is never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.

Sister Lucia reported later that Our Lord also complained to her, They did not wish to heed My request! … Like the King of France they will repent of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread its errors in the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.” (from Fatima.org)

Our Lord was referring to His request to King Louis XIV of France on June 17, 1689 to solemnly consecrate his country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Our Lord made His request known through St. Margaret Mary Alacoque and no French King publicly obeyed the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Eventually, on June 17, 1789, 100 years later, King Louis XVI was stripped of his power by the National Assembly and less than four years later, was beheaded. It is said that while he was in the Bastille, King Louis XVI attempted to consecrate France, but by that time, of course, it was far too late to achieve the desired results.

Also, in that post we observed that Pope Francis would use the Synod to force through his “irreversible changes” just prior to the Centenary of Fatima. We noted that the centenary of Fatima coincides with three other anniversaries, all of which are  inimical  to the Faith, that is,  the 500th anniversary of Luther’s Revolution, the 300th anniversary of the establishment of Freemasonry and the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution.   Quite a convergence of historical forces.

In  our last post,  on  January 26, we concluded,

The reason for this repost right now is to help readers to understand that a deadline has passed. In the earlier instance in France, passing the deadline resulted in: the horrific Reign of Terror of the French Revolution, the destruction of the French monarchy, a further step in the destruction of Christendom which had begun with  Luther’s revolt and lastly, the leap in power of the occult forces which appear to be all but fully in control now.

Which leads to the inevitable question – what “irreversible” chain of events has now been set in motion?

The Centenary of Fatima – A Convergence

Of the four anniversaries marked in 2017, three commemorated the powers that war against Christ, His Church and His Immaculate Mother.  The three occult powers – freemasonry, protestantism and marxism,  form a diabolical trinity of their own and now seem to be coalescing and gaining strength against the Woman.  For the moment, they appear on the ascendency.

Although freemasonry publicly claims its founding in 1717, that is a masterful deception for this society which lives by deceit. It was from this synagogue of satan that the protestant revolution and the marxist revolution were financed and sustained.

And so we see that 2017 was a momentous occasion, wherein the battle lines were more clearly drawn as the forces assembled.  It might seem a bit daunting, this Woman against the staggering  array of dark forces which now appear to control even the Church. But we recall Lepanto, where thousands of battle hardened mohammedan warriors fled in terror at the sight of the Woman looming up before them, high above  the vast fleet. Our Lady of the Rosary vanquished the enemy at Lepanto as  the small but brave fleet of Christendom admitted afterwards. It was She and her Rosary that won the day, make no mistake.

The Vicar of Christ  Leads the Way

As the forces coalesce and align for the momentous battle, one would expect to see  the Vicar of Christ lead His Church to celebrate  the Immaculata,  Our Lady of Victory, rallying her children for the battle, helping to lead them to victory.  But what did this  Humble Pope of Surprises®  do instead?

The unfortunate  man who now occupies the See of Peter did lead his decimated and confused flock; but where? In the entire centenary year, where did Pope Francis lead the Church? Why he went to Fatima!

The Pope Goes to Fatima

Pope Francis travelled to Fatima Portugal for a two day visit May 12- 13, 2017 for the canonization of the two youngest of the Fatima seers, Francisco and Jacinta Marto.

On May 12: The Pope asked tens of thousands of pilgrims to reflect on “which Mary” they choose to venerate, “the virgin Mary from the Gospel” or “one who restrains the arm of a vengeful God?”

Note the Pope’s dishonest rhetorical device  –  a loaded question leading his audience to conclude that one must choose between the “Mary of the Gospel” or the Mary depicted at  the vision of the Third Secret of Fatima. The Pope’s reference to “one who restrains the arm of a vengeful God”  refers to the Vatican’s own text of the Third Secret released in June 2000:

“at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’ “

Pope Francis’s remark is thus an attack on Our Lady of Fatima and an attack against the teaching of Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. For the public ministry of Our Lord began with His call to penance (“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say: Do penance, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 3, 17) and the the last book of the Bible, the Apocalypse also contains Our Lord’s call to penance and warning of chastisement (“Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance.” Apoc. 3, 19).

In a subsequent talk, he continued to abuse the Blessed Virgin and her Message of Fatima,

Those who emphasise God’s punishment of sinners, he said, commit “a great injustice” to him by not recognising that sinners “are forgiven by his mercy.”  … “Mercy has to be put before judgment,” he said, “and, in any case, God’s judgment will always be rendered in the light of his mercy.”… “With Mary, may each of us become a sign and sacrament of the mercy of God, who pardons always and pardons everything,” he said.

Note his charge, “Those who emphasise God’s punishment of sinners”. This applies to Our Lady of Fatima who revealed the reality of hell and the eternal punishment of sinners  in a frightening vision and warned the children, “You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go.”   Thus, the pope accused God’s own most Blessed Mother of committing “a  great injustice” to God. In this, he managed to attack both Our Lady and her Message of Fatima. And, as always, he never mentions sin or the need for penance.

On the papal airplane, ostensibly speaking of the false apparitions at Medjugorje, he struck at her yet  again,

“I prefer Our Lady as mother, our mother, and not Our Lady as head of the post office who sends a message at a stated time.” …
“This isn’t Jesus’ mother,” he said. “And these alleged apparitions don’t have much value. I say this as a personal opinion, but it is clear. Who thinks that Our Lady says, ‘Come, because tomorrow at this time I will give a message to that seer?‘ No!”

Now, we all know that long before the deception of Medjugorje, Our Lady of the Rosary instructed the children of Fatima to come to the same place, at the same time for six months to receive her message.

It was quite  clever of Pope Francis to embed his criticism of Our Lady of Fatima into his criticism of the false apparitions of Medjugorje, wasn’t it?  So that was how Pope Bergoglio began the commemoration of the Centenary of Our Lady of Fatima in May.  And so we see that Francis was leading his flock in his speeches at Fatima.   And his flock, all over the world, appeared to follow docilely; other than a few rigid, pharisaical trads, few took note of this  and in parishes everywhere, there was rejoicing among the dwindling flock that Pope Francis had “honored” Our Lady of Fatima on her 100th anniversary.

Then, in  October,  we commemorated  the final month of the Fatima visits.  Or did we?

What honor did Pope Francis surprise us with to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the great Miracle of the Sun at Fatima?  I know, perhaps he honored her with a stamp?

Not exactly.

The Pope’s Achievement

As October drew to a close Pope Francis chose instead of honoring Our Lady of the Rosary to honor one of her most vitriolic enemies,  once again offending Our Lord Jesus Christ and His most Blessed Mother, this time in a formal and unmistakable manner:

For the centennial of Our Lady of Fatima, Pope Francis issued a commemorative postage stamp.  Oops, actually he didn’t.

Actually, Pope Francis instead honored the arch-heretic Martin Luther, who destroyed so many souls by preaching many of the same errors spouted by this very same Pope.  The stamp pictures a crucifixion scene from which the Mother of God has been erased and her place given to Luther. St. John is erased too, and supplanted by Philip Melancthon, the heretic who assisted Luther in his work of destruction.

And that brings us to the close of the year as Pope Francis and his Lavender Mafia used the holy feast ofChristmas to celebrate their triumph with the sordid squalor of their “Nativity Scene” in St. Peter’s Square.

Bergoglio’s Vatican Celebrates the Fallen Star

As we see, the Pope continues to lead: he has insisted, quite rigidly, I might add, on his magisterial interpretation of Amoris Laetitia allowing those persistent in mortal sin to receive the Body and Blood of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

And  he has firmly stood by his choice of the disgusting pederast-enabler Juan Barros in Chile.  And again,  he has refused to rescind the the honor he awarded a notorious international abortion promoter, Lilianne Ploumen, who is one of the world’s most virulent abortion promotors.  For more on Ploumen’s work, see here.

Now, in 2018 as we look back over the events of 2017, we see clearly where Pope Francis is leading the Church.  But very few Bishops and even fewer Cardinals will stand up and speak the truth to the faithful. In fact, the vast majority of them follow along, bleating and tweeting  docilely. And just as in the example we were given by Our Lord Himself, these events are little noted as the dark tide of history sweeps past, hastening to its inevitable conclusion.

And what of the faithful? Many drift away into various methods of insulating themselves from the stresses of this intense spiritual combat, comforting themselves with devotions which do not require sacrifice.  Many others drift into a narcissistic devotion to their own infallibility, blind to the snare that befell Luther, they attack faithful Catholics, lacking the humility to subject themselves to any authority but their own. In this, they resemble protestants much more than the faithful Catholics they purport to be.

Let them go, let them continue to tweet and post pictures of themselves and their food on facebook for their gullible followers. The time of winnowing passes  rapidly.

And all shall be well

And all manner of thing shall be well…

For the love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray the Rosary!

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come! Viva Cristo Rey!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
St. Joseph, protect us, protect our families, protect our priests.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Please pray for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

~ by evensong for love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, King.
Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin! Give me strength against thine enemies!

Great article, except for one glaring error. We have not passed the 100-year deadline for the consecration. ("The reason for this repost right now is to help readers to understand that a deadline has passed.") Our Lady asked for the consecration at Tuy, Spain, on June 13, 1929. The deadline is June 13, 2029.

From the Fatima Center website (which still has a lot of great stuff on it, despite the new direction it's heading in since Fr. Gruner died):

The Apparition at Tuy (1929)

In 1926 Sister Lucy left the convent in Pontevedra to enter the Dorothean novitiate at Tuy, a Spanish city near Pontevedra. She took her habit on October 26, 1926, and pronounced her first vows on October 3, 1928. It was here in Tuy that Our Lady’s promise contained in the Secret of July 13, 1917 was fulfilled: "I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia...."

Sister Lucy describes the communication:

June 13, 1929). I had requested and obtained permission from my superiors and my confessor to make a holy hour from 11:00 p.m. to midnight, from Thursday to Friday of each week.

Finding myself alone one night, I knelt down near the Communion rail, in the middle of the chapel, to recite the prayers of the Angel, lying prostrate ... Feeling tired, I got up and continued to recite them with my arms in the form of a cross. The only light was that of the [sanctuary] lamp.

Suddenly, the whole chapel lit up with a supernatural light and on the altar appeared a cross of light which reached the ceiling. In a clearer light, on the upper part of the cross, could be seen the face of a man with His body to the waist, on His chest a dove, equally luminous; and nailed to the cross, the body of another man. A little below the waist [of Christ on the cross], suspended in the air, could be seen a Chalice and a large Host, onto which some drops of Blood were falling, which flowed from the face of the Crucified One and from the wound in His breast. Running down over the Host, these drops fell into the Chalice.

Under the right arm of the cross was Our Lady with Her Immaculate Heart in Her hand ... (She appeared as Our Lady of Fatima, with Her Immaculate Heart in Her left hand, without sword or roses, but with a crown of thorns and flames) under the left arm [of the cross], in large letters, like crystalline water which flowed over the altar, forming these words: "Grace and Mercy". I understood that the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity was shown to me, and I received lights about this mystery which I am not permitted to reveal.

Then Our Lady said to me: ‘The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. So numerous are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me, that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.’

I rendered an account of this to my confessor, who ordered me to write down what Our Lord willed to be done.

The request at Tuy was especially distinguished by the role the Bishops of the Church, and specifically the Holy Father, were to have in God’s plan for peace. The faithful had been instructed in their role of prayer and sacrifice in the apparitions at Fatima. At Tuy, however, the Pope is given the primary responsibility for future peace: "God asks the Holy Father ...." In 1917 the Holy Father had asked the Blessed Mother to obtain the peace of the world and, like a loving mother, She readily consented, but on the condition of the Holy Father’s and the Church’s faithful cooperation with Her plan.

Thank you for this precise info, David. I read a lot about Fatima but definitely missed or ignored this all along.

Thank you for posting, Michael.

Yes it was asked in 1929 but many people attribute the 100 year deadline to the start of the Blessed Virgins visits in 1917.  The consecration was requested  in 1929 but Our Lady asked for penance and conversion of mankind in 1917, and this has NOT happened, in fact quite the opposite has occurred instead, so it is some put the deadline as 1917 not limiting it to strictly the request of the consecration alone.

How long will Mary hold back the hand of her Son?

We will know soon enough which date God intends to rule by.

Yes, I know that DM, but Our Lady also asked for the world's conversion at La Salette in 1846, and in 1634 in Quito she asked the faithful to "Pray insistently without tiring and weep with bitter tears." None of those have taken place yet. That last was almost 400 years ago.

In the case of the King of France, it was 100 years to the day from when Our Lady made the request for the consecration of France that the king was deposed. If the events foretold ay Tuy unfold along the same lines, as Our Lady said they would, then logically the deadline would be 100 years after the request for the consecration of Russia was made. The request wasn't made at Fatima; at Fatima she said she would come again to request the consecration. She didn't request it or reveal that it was to be done by the pope in union with all the bishops until 1929.

Of course, all these sorts of things are veiled to a certain extent, and God Almighty alone knows what will happen, and when. What I am presenting is just my opinion, and the reasons for them. In my original post I was addressing the writer's assertion that the deadline had already passed.

I get it, just saying some people consider the date as the author does.  As for me, I'm not sure which one God will judge by although 29 would seem the more technically correct one.
