In charity we ask you to pray for the repose of the soul of SSPX Br. Gerard-Marie Baufreton who died in an accident on a community outing in Martinique on July 14th.

He received the last rites.

Br. Gerard-Marie was 25 years old and in his 4th year of profession. He had been assigned in the SSPX's Priory Notre Dame de la Delivrance in October 2009.

The Requiem Mass has been said by the District Superior of France, Fr. de Cacqueray in Thouars on Saturday, July 23rd.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

What a sorrow! But you are probably right Adrienne.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let Thy perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I was very sorry and saddened to read this.
