Most people here may have seen this quote from Bishop Fulton Sheen's work "Communism and The Conscience of The West (1948).
"[Satan] will set up a counter church which will be the ape of the [Catholic] Church...It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content."
This would seem to align with some of the remarks made by Monsignor Raymond Ruscitto in "Priest where is thy
Mass? Mass where is thy Priest" and the aims of the Alta Vendita. I wondered if someone who knows more than me could tell me; would it be possible for the Catholic Church to become possessed? and require exorcism maybe by the "antidote" of the Consecration of Russia. This is probably stupid but it could explain some things.

The only thing I might add is if one defies the Mother of God's direct command or request with a willful and spiteful heart, or with a heart that rejects her in order to serve the enemy I would imagine right there the door is wide open for perfect possession.
Just a theory.
