SOME ANNOUNCEMENTS August 18th 2013

Dear Crusaders,

 

The following are a few announcements:

 

First we are still in need of Crusaders to fill the openings in the Perpetual Rosary Group.  Another opening came up yesterday as one of our Crusaders has fallen ill and is unable to recite their decade anymore.  PLEASE consider signing up to receive a decade if you do not have one already.  You can sign up HERE. 

An admin will then contact you with further info.

Second we would like to welcome our new admin Mr. Michael Cargill.  He is most welcomed and his help here is very appreciated!   Please note our admins are Mr. Tim Whitney, Mr. Michael Cargill and myself.  Cathleen is our Crusaders Novena Coordinator--- if you have any questions on the Novena Events or would like to offer a suggestion for an upcoming novena please contact her.  While on the subject we would like to offer our deepest thanks and profound gratitude for all the hard work she puts in to coordinating these events.

 

Third, we have been considering a project which is to advertise the Crusaders of the Immaculate Heart in Lifesitenews and have decided after looking in to it that we would like to go ahead with it.  One of our other Crusaders is working on a banner that we will need to do this.  Lifesitenews gets somewhere in the neighborhood of 250,000 hits a day and has a readership of over 750,000. 

 

Our goal is to spread devotion to Our Lady and knowledge of Our Lady as far and wide as possible and this seems like an avenue worth pursuing  to achieve this goal. Their advertising costs are somewhat expensive but not out of reach. After looking over the pricing we have determined we can advertise for one week on their site.

 

If you can help in any way with any small donation, and we do mean small, 5 or 10 dollars small, to offset the cost it would be very appreciated.  There is a donate button in the tabs section for this.  We are hoping to raise somewhere in the area of 2oo dollars for this project. If you are unable to help financially ( and understandably so many of us are in hard times right now) we ask rather for your prayers instead, which are without question even more important than financial contributions.  This is the first time we are trying this and if it is something worth while we may consider making it a once a year project.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to all who contributed for our advertisement campaign with Lifesite news. 

As of this morning (due to some anonymous donor, quite literally I don't know who they are, I only know they are not an official Crusader) and thanks to all our Crusaders who donated we have reached our hoped for goal coming in at 205 dollars.

God bless all who were so kind and generous with their contributions both temporal and those prayerful ones known only to God alone.

A rosary will be offered for all our benefactors intentions.

Ben G. is still working on the banner and we are hoping to come up with a finished product soon.

We are still working on the advertising campaign!  Apparently there are 2 different sites with similar sounding names and even logos so there was some momentary confusion going on.  In case anyone didn't know Lifesitenews and Lifenews are 2 different organizations LOL.  Ughh. 

Anyway after getting that straightened out it looks like we might do better with Lifesitenews (I thought Lifenews was a shortened name for Lifesitenews).  They have approximately 4 million viewers a month. 

The pricing is very similar. 

So we will be sending in our banner to Lifesitenews and hopefully get this ball rolling :)

In case anyone was wondering we have not forgotten about this project (:

We were getting ready to set a date when Bp. Fellay announced he would be doing another Rosary Crusade.  In light of this announcement we have decided to wait (until no later than mid December) to advertise because we would like to do the advertising in conjunction with the Crusade in order to make more souls aware of it who might otherwise not know and in this way may also participate in such a Crusade.

Here's hoping he does it for the consecration of Russia+
