GUARDIAN ANGEL PRAYER OF ST. GERTRUDE

O MOST holy Angel of God, appointed by God to my Guardian, I give thee thanks for all the  benefits which thou hast ever bestowed on me in body and soul. I praise and glorify thee that thou  condescended to assist me with such patient fidelity, and to defend me against all the  assaults of my enemy. Blessed be the hour in which thou were assigned me for my Guardian,  my defender and my patron. In acknowledgment and return for all thy loving ministries to me, I  offer thee the infinitely precious and noble Heart of Jesus, and firmly purpose to obey thee  henceforward, and most faithfully to serve my God. Amen.

Each Hail Mary I say, my guardian angel place a beautiful rose at the feet of the Blessed Holy Mother Mary bearing my love, my gratitude, and my prayers. My Guardian Angel, Sing Praises To Our Lord, and be present at the Holy Mass each day of the week and weekends when I cannot be there and kneel in my place at the Holy Mass where I desire to be. And when the priest Communion takes, oh bring my Lord to me, That His sweet Heart may rest on mine, and I His temple be. † Blessed and exalted be the Precious Blood of Jesus and the  Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with love and reparation. Fiat ! Hail Mary  . Amen. †
