This Novena of Grace, which begins March 4 and ends on March 12, the day of St. Francis Xavier's canonization, owes its origin to that good saint himself. In December 1633, Fr. Marchello Mastrilli, S.J. was dying. St. Francis appeared to him, asking him to renew the vow he made to work in Japan. St. Francis promised that all who ask his help during this novena and worthily receive Confession and Holy Communion on one of the nine days will experience his protection and may hope with…See More

Joseph, I just posted a short biography with commentary about St. Martha under the "Blog" section of this website. I looked but couldn't find a good prayer nor novena for St. Martha - but thought this meditation on her life would be beneficial. Thank you for suggesting it. I gained a new admiration for this good saint
Joseph, I'm sorry for not seeing your post about St. Martha until it was too late to post a novena this year. I will try to do something next year. In the meantime, I will post a short prayer for her feast day, this Sunday.
Thank you for letting me know, and again I apologize for not doing something in time. I don't always sign onto this site every day.
